Abstract. An analytical solution to the problem of synthesizing an aplanatic system of two reflect-arrays is found. A formula for the aberration of the eikonal of the system is obtained. Based on the obtained formula with refinement by the ray tracing method, optimal values of the parameters providing the minimum mean-square aberration are found. Using numerical simulation by the finite element method and in the Kirchhoff approximation, an analysis of the radiation characteristics of a multi-beam antenna based on an optimized aplanatic system of two reflect-arrays is carried out depending on the angle of view.
Key words: multi-beam antenna, aplanatic system, reflect-arrays, mean-square aberration, optimization.
Financing: The work was carried out at the expense of budgetary funding within the framework of the state task on topic 0030-2019-006.
