Practical applications of superbroadband radars working with simple signals (without intrapulse modulation) with spectrum width of about 500 MHz and more are considered. Results of use of such radar for the remote and contactless control of physiological parametres of a person in medicine and/or at a dangerous work are given. Possibilities of such radars for detection of moving and motionless people through optically opaque barriers (wall, smoke, fragments of building designs) or in vegetation (bush, forest) and their use for antiterrorist activity or protection of objects are shown. Also presented the use of these radars for exact position definition of a source of radio signal located on a person or a material object. Descriptions of the radars developed by research center of superbroadband technologies of Moscow aviation institute are presented.
