Abstract. Currently, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of various types and tactics of their use are actively developing in the interests of both economic and defense activities of the state. One of the problems holding back the mass use of UAVs is their navigation support, designed for safe performance of a single or group flight, as well as landing on unequipped sites. Modern on-board navigation systems based on GNSS receivers, inertial, optical-electronic and other systems do not provide sufficient accuracy of measuring UAV coordinates to perform a group flight. As an alternative, a navigation angle measuring system is proposed, based on the use of adaptive antenna arrays (AA) and ensuring the determination of angular coordinates of individual UAVs in a group or a ground radio beacon (bearings on radio emission sources). The calculation of the direction-finding relief and the study of the super-resolution algorithm were carried out using the recurrent calculation of the inverse correlation matrix of signal sources and the calculation of the weight vector according to the maximum likelihood criterion in the Matlab software environment and specially developed add-on programs. A super-resolution algorithm was synthesized in a low-element antenna array and, using the developed model, the radiation patterns (RP) of the low-element antenna array and its direction-finding relief for several configurations were constructed.
Key words: unmanned aircraft system, on-board radio detection and control station, radar station, low-element antenna arrays, angular superresolution, signal processing methods.
Financing: The study was supported by a grant from the Russian Science Foundation No. 25-19-20070, https://rscf.ru/project/25-19-20070/, a grant from the Krasnoyarsk Regional Science Foundation.
