Abstract. Mixed finite elements are
applied to cylindrical waveguides with arbitrary filling mode computation. For
the solution of the field approximation problem in the zero point the ideal conductor
is introduced to the waveguide axis. Test results have high accuracy. The
method opportunities are considered for the problems with arbitrary filling.
