Abstract. The research deals with
different types of sea clutter effecting the receiver path of amplitude detector
and log-CFAR detector of pulse radar. Analysis is made for the performance
aerial target detection through sea clutter described by lognormal and Rayleigh
law of distribution. A study is conducted for influence of time constant for
logarithmic input function displacement of log-CFAR detector on detection
performance.
