Abstract.
By means of consistent
solution of motion equation for magnetization the dissipation of magnetostatic
surface waves (MSSW) propagating on in-plane magnetized ferrite plate in arbitrary
direction relatively to field is considered. The dispersion characteristics of
forward and backward dissipative MSSW for real and imaginary parts of complex
wave number in the cases of large and small dissipation are found. The
comparison of dispersion variation character by the changing of MSSW
propagation direction with the variation of dispersion in the case of changing
of dissipation is made. For the interpretation of obtained dependencies the
model of cross section of MSSW dispersion surface in the space of three
dimensions is proposed.
