Abstract. The
simulation of echo signals reflected from the Earth surface for mapping mode of
synthetic aperture radar is considered. The
analytical expressions for estimating point reflector pip displacement on radar
image as a result of inaccuracy in setting the modeled SAR sensor trajectory
are obtained.
