Abstract. A numerical technique for time domain noise analysis of oscillators is proposed. This technique is based on the linear periodically time varying model and equivalent transformation of the model linear system. This transformation produces a nonsingular matrix at zero frequency offset, which avoids numerical errors at small offset frequencies. Examples are given to demonstrate the efficiency of the new technique.

Key words: analog circuits, oscillators, circuit simulation, periodic steady state, amplitude noise, phase noise, noise analysis, power spectral density.
