Peer review

All submitted articles are peer reviewed according to the established procedure.

Reviewers are selected by the editorial board members. All reviewers are recognized experts in the field of the reviewed material and have publications on the subject of the reviewed articles.

Peer review is blind: the author does not know the name of the reviewer. The author answers the reviewer's comments in the personal account when uploading the revised version of the paper; the editorial office passes the answer on to the reviewer.

Reviewers are informed by the editorial office that the articles are the intellectual property of the authors and may not be used by reviewers for personal purposes.

Reviewers must keep confidentiality and not disclose the content of reviewed articles before publication.

The reviewer must assess the article impartially. The review should contain the reviewer's comments and a conclusion on whether the article can be accepted as is, after revision, or should be rejected.

After the review is received, the executive secretary presents it at the editorial board meeting, where the final decision on the article is made. The review or a reasoned rejection is sent to the author's personal account, and the author is notified by email.

An article revised according to the comments is considered by the reviewer and the editorial board members again.

If the article is rejected by the editorial board, this decision is final.

Reviews are kept by the editorial office for 5 years. Copies of reviews are sent to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation on request.

Contents of the review

The reviewer fills in the review form on the journal website:

1. correspondence of the article to the scope of the journal;
2. relevance of the problems addressed;
3. scientific novelty;
4. practical value;
5. whether the text needs correction;
6. whether scientific editing is needed;
7. scientific level of the article;
8. comments and suggestions;
9. conclusion: publish as is, publish after revision, or reject.
